TLC Farm is a community-based initiative focused on supporting individuals who need additional guidance, structure, and opportunity in their daily lives.
The primary focus is working with individuals with developmental disabilities and special needs, while also supporting others who may need a second chance or additional support — including those navigating medical conditions, mental health challenges, recovery, or life after incarceration.
The goal is simple: create a consistent, supportive environment where people can stay active, build skills, and be part of something meaningful.

At TLC Farm, hands-on work is a core part of how people stay engaged and build confidence. Whether it’s gardening, working on small projects, or helping with daily farm tasks, participants have the opportunity to learn by doing. The focus isn’t perfection — it’s showing up, participating, and building skills over time.
Getting out into the community is just as important as the work itself. We support individuals in participating in events, outings, and social activities that help them connect with others and experience new environments. These experiences build confidence, encourage interaction, and create a sense of belonging.
We create opportunities for individuals to take part in real-world activities that match their abilities and interests. This can include things like small work opportunities, running errands, or participating in community-based programs. The goal is to build independence and provide experiences that feel meaningful and practical.
Daily routines and life skills are built through consistency and repetition. This includes things like managing schedules, making healthy choices, handling responsibilities, and navigating everyday situations. Over time, these small steps lead to greater independence and confidence.
